Storefront Entrance
The glass on the sides of the luggage store entryway illustrates TUMI’s premium brand positioning before customers enter the store, while the muted stone used to frame the entryway signifies TUMI’s strength and sophistication—two attributes that are vital components of TUMI products. The “TUMI” logo located above the suitcase store entrance has been appropriately lit with backlighting and is written in a simple, geometric font using a sans-serif typeface style. Illuminated to stand out against the neutral facade without appearing ostentatious.
Central Decoration Wall
A major focus of the luggage retail store is the modular grid style decorative walls in white texture, which have been styled to emulate/express the hard shell surfaces of TUMI brand case as well as their forms. The entire decorative wall is made up of interchangeable panels that are identical, so they can be painted or decorated in any way you wish to create your own look. This reinforces the design language of TUMI within the retail space, allowing you to feel like you are part of the product. The colour of the decorative wall also addresses the overall neutral colour scheme of the store itself while adding a textured background to the space without distracting from the overall suitcase store design and feel .
Display Shelving & Stand
On either side of the decorative wall, the luggage store design incorporates wall display shelving for product displays and display stands to assist in the presentation of products. The glass shelves are designed with minimal amounts of the metal framing so as not to distract from the merchandise and allow for an airy feeling throughout the display area. While at the same time, the use of display stand for your products allows customers to reach the product more easily and the product’s tactile feel is a significant factor in the customer’s decision-making process in purchasing luggage and other high-involvement products.
