Coordinate the Restaurant Fit-Out

A restaurant fit-out includes many linked decisions: where guests wait, how they move to a table and where staff serve or clear dishes. Start with the floor plan and operating format, then select furniture and displays that support those routes. A collection of attractive reference pictures is not yet a workable layout.

  • Furniture: match table, chair and booth dimensions to the measured dining plan.

  • Displays: define what is being shown and whether separate equipment is required.

  • Decoration: identify focal walls, signage positions and fixing requirements.

Plan Dining Furniture as a Layout

Use the expected party sizes to choose a mix of tables, then check chairs and booths in their occupied positions. A counter or partition can help divide functions, but it should not obscure key routes. Confirm dimensions and proposed finishes for each item, including how new furniture relates to any existing pieces.

Position Food and Merchandise Displays

Decide whether the display is for food, packaged goods, bottles or visual presentation only. Each use changes the brief. Specify refrigeration or other equipment separately where needed, and leave its required access space. Keep menu information legible at the point where customers make decisions rather than relying on decorative signage alone.

Connect Decoration to the Concept

Choose a limited palette and repeat it across a few visible surfaces. Props, wall panels and lighting should reinforce the restaurant concept without crowding the dining area. Confirm the location and support for larger decorative items. Electrical, building and access requirements should be reviewed by the relevant project professionals before installation.

Prepare an Itemized Restaurant Brief

Send Benson Display your measured plan, reference images and a list of required items. Separate loose furniture, built-in counters, equipment and decoration so each scope can be priced and checked clearly. Identify what will be supplied locally and what needs coordination with the site team. Reference galleries illustrate options and do not establish completed Benson projects or verified equipment performance.
