A cigar lounge is a commercial property that combines high-end retail sales with upscale hospitality services. This aesthetic style of this type of cigar lounge is considered luxury / retro. Dark atmospheres, soft focused lighting, intimate seating arrangements contribute to the “high end” feel of the cigar lounge. And the cigar lounges have a contemporary feel with curved furnishings, streamlined spatial arrangements, rich woods, textured fabrics, warm metals and top-of-the-line craftmanship that represents true sophistication.
Cigar Display Shelf
The glass-encased walk-in humidor display area serves as both a functional and retail center for the cigar lounge. The large, sealed wood display shelf prevents warping due to humidity and keeps the cigars at a consistent temperature and humidity. The rolling ladder allows staff and guests to access high-end inventory. In addition, the backlit design of the walk-in humidor display shelf allows guests to easily view the various colors and patterns on cigar packaging as well as distinguish between different vitolas and brands.
Bar Counter
While a bar counter serves as a place of service, in this cigar lounges it has become a connection between seating, storage, and flow of guests. The smoke lounge serves both cigars and beverages, allowing cigar patrons to partake in then together. The bar counter front facade is a special material panel with a woven texture that is also the same color and uses the same fabrics as the lounge’s seating upholstery. Thus, there is a feeling of cohesiveness in design throughout the entire space. Above the bar area, a geometric glass rack has been suspended from the ceiling to display stemware. This rack is positioned for easy accessibility to staff members.
Area Seating
Clients want a place where they can socialize with their friends and family while at the same time having the ability to sit back and relax without distractions. This cigar lounge accomplishes this through its seating arrangement, which is designed in a modular zone configuration that allows for flexibility based on the size and moods of the guest. The seating has a plush, high-density foam cushion covered with a tight woven fabric that resists cigar ash and liquid spills. The banquette-style seating is accompanied by low-profile armchairs, some of which have subtle animal print upholstery to create visual interest without overwhelming the room visually, which is an important aspect in designing a premium lounge.
