When pet owners bring their pets to a veterinary clinic, what they expect is not only professional medical services, but also a space that can relieve their tension. JUNO Veterinary is precisely such a traditional-breaking veterinary treatment space. It reconstructs the medical experience between humans and pets with warm wood and calm dark green. It makes the healing process start from the moment they step into the door.
Design concept
The entire space of JUNO Veterinary is a light wood color, with soft green leather seats. The gentle shapes reduce the harshness of the edges. This allows both the pets and their owners to relax. The low wooden partitions between the booths ensure privacy without blocking the view.
On the other side of the waiting area, the built-in snack cabinet and drinking station incorporate thoughtful design elements. The heartwarming photos of pets and humans hanging on the walls further convey the brand message. This enables the owners to have a strong emotional connection and resonance.
Reception desk
The JUNO’s reception desk is unique to traditional medicine and reflects the warm character of the brand with its soft design.
Construction materials and craftsmanship: The solid wood plywood is used for the entire structure. And there is matte paneling on the surface. As a safety measure for pets and their owners, the edge of the countertop has a rounded arc. This also adds to the softness of the space.
Functional zoning: The inward slope of the countertop allows both staff and customers to communicate freely. The charging ports and document storage in drawers on the countertop, so customers can easily charge their devices or find their pet care manual while waiting. Multiple layers of drawers and filing cabinets inside the desk provide simplicity to the design.
Visual highlights: The background wall is in dark green hand small square tiles, creating a strong contrast against the lit “JUNO VETERINARY” letters. The wooden decorative arch above the wall mirrors the curvature of the reception desk.
Treatment table
This examination table’s modular drawer cabinet has an artificial stone countertop, full bond seams and a waterproof finish that will not absorb liquids and is also easily disinfected. It is designed and built with a 5mm water barrier along its edge, preventing splashing out of the bowl when rinsing. The bottom of the counter has adjustable height stainless steel leg supports, adjustable for the height of each veterinarian user.
Modular drawer cabinet underneath the examination table, with the drawer interiors configure many fixed-size and free-size partitions to accommodate a variety of medical instruments and medications, as well as more materials. The drawer cabinet is the same light wood as the reception desk to keep the decor consistent throughout the space.
The weight of the pet can be continuously tracked while being treated while using the embedded weight sensor that is incorporated into the base of the countertop and helps improve the overall quality and efficiency of care.
Curved sofa
The sofa in the waiting area is the focal point of the entire space. It creates a relaxe atmosphere reminiscent of a coffee shop through its gentle curves and warm materials. The sofa frame is multi-layer solid wood laminates. And a surface of matte wooden finish in a light wood color. The seat cushion and backrest upholster deep dark green with high resilience. The fabric is a custom waterproof and stain-resistant technology fabric.
The overall layout adopts a semi-arc shape, which not only creates a relatively private waiting area but also avoids a sense of enclosure through an open view. The low wooden partitions with the sofas. And the height precisely blocking the pets’ view, thereby reducing their stress response to the unfamiliar environment.
