In the modern retail environment, successfully opening a cannabis dispensary is far more complex than simply obtaining the necessary licenses and sourcing high-quality products. Every part of the space is functional; there is no randomness in the decor. Including the brand logo in the display counter, cash register or the walls of the store benefits customer brand awareness. Lighting is an important component of your space for both function and emotional attributes. Ambient lighting creates the overall experience using LED panel ceilings or recessed fixtures. Accent lighting creates a focus on certain products within glass cases and cannabis display cases. Easy care plants add tactility without contributing to clutter. Be careful not to overuse “cannabis leaf” motifs.
