The scarf shop design and scarf display fixtures of an effective scarf shop aren’t just visually appealing, they’re also a means to solve the distinct challenges of selling scarves and providing a customer experience with fewer stressors. The combination of modular, durable display fixtures with a minimalist design and a biophilic design creates a functional and brand-identity-focused store, establishing a benchmark in the field of modern scarf retail shop design.
Design Ideas
The design of the OSHAL scarf shop utilizes a monochrome color scheme of greige and white to create a minimalistic and neutral backdrop for displaying the product. And the layout there are unobstructed views from floor to ceiling. This design feature allows customers to view the entire product range in one shot without being overwhelmed by too much information. Because minimalist stores leads to the risk of appearing sterile and uninviting, especially as this product category relates to feelings of comfort and personal style. This scarf shop has addressed these concerns with the addition of a large vertical living green wall made from preserved moss at the back of the shop.
Reception Counter
The primary reception desk (white with gray accents) is a modern, understated piece that includes a place to store POS equipment, wrapping materials (tissue and ribbon for gift giving), and spare boxes for scarves. The surface of the desk is almost completely clear and has been intentionally designed this way to enhance the shop’s modern, natural feel, while not distracting from merchandise that is displayed on the racks nearby. The front desk, positioned at the scarf shop entryway, allows employees to greet incoming customers and assist them with their purchase as they exit; its height mirrors the freestanding display racks, allowing for the free flow of foot traffic.
Wall Display Shelf
These wall display shelves were made out of matte-finish MDF which was selected because this type of MDF is very durable, easy to clean, and does not cause light reflections. Some of these shelf displays contain folded scarves or complimentary items in scarf display fixtures. However, others are made up of horizontal storage racks made from brushed metal with the vertical recessed strips shaped as a ‘U’ on either side of the arms of the shelves. Each arm has an infinity amount of hooks attached to them; individual scarves can be stored on the hook, or individual folded scarves. One key feature about the display shelves is that the arms can be adjusted up and down or side to side by scarf shop personnel.
Multi-Tiered Display Racks
Multi-tiered display Rack is a stand-alone, that allows you to exhibit collections and color ranges of scarves with ease by grouping them together. The display rack contains numerous wide shallow shelf areas, allowing you to showcase several folded styles and/or thin rolled scarves while having a space-efficient, organized stack, displaying large quantities of folded, rolled, and all rolled scarves. The weighted base ensures that a multi-tier stand will not tip over, and allows for unobstructed sightlines to the back wall and brand-defining green wall and keeps the area open.
