Luxury & Accessible Design Idea
A wig retail shop’s spatial interior design exemplifies a successful merger of luxury and accessible design. This balanced interior provides an experience that is both desirable as well as approachable through the use of durable, attractive materials and thoughtful layout. A large slab of pure white marble with gold veining, showcasing the R Love Extensions logo in large, eye-catching rose gold script, serves as the focal point for this wig ‘shop’s space. Strategically located palm plants have been used to provide warmth and help reduce the harsh industrial aesthetic of the dark brick and metal finishes.
Layout
The open layout allows customers designed to guide customers through a seamless journey from exploration to purchase. Flanked by symmetrically arranged wall displays and freestanding fixtures, ensuring unobstructed movement. The reception desk, located on the left side of the entrance, is covered with metallic rose gold and black lacquer. A comfy lounge area with cream-colored sofas (with ornamental red chairs) is located on the right hand side of the entrance.
Display Furniture
The most noticeable feature of the wig retail shop is a series of metal display racks with gold frames placed along the center aisle, which serve as a visual guide to provide a rhythmic flow while encouraging customers to explore each section. In addition, there are modular display stand throughout various accessory areas that display both hair care products and hair styling tools. Finally, the central display island located at the halfway point of the center aisle exhibits several different themed promotions displayed along with mannequins styled with complete outfits that can inspire customers while they shop.
