The following set of design drawings shows a food stall with corn as the theme. Its design concept, layout planning, material application, and visual presentation are all unique, aiming to bring customers a unique consumption experience.
Design concept
- The corn pavilion takes corn as the core theme, from the name “Del Maiz” to various decorative elements, all of which are fully centered around the corn. Corn is a common and popular food ingredient with a strong local flavor and rich cultural connotations. By incorporating corn elements into the design of the pavilion, it can not only highlight the characteristics of the products sold, but also create a natural, friendly, and vibrant atmosphere.
Overall layout
The corn pavilion has a relatively regular shape as a whole, and the space utilization is compact and reasonable.
(I) Operation area
- The operation area has facilities such as sinks and cooking tables. The setting of the sink facilitates the stall owner to wash ingredients and clean tableware to ensure food hygiene. The cooking table is the main area for making food. We can place various tools and equipment, such as grills and cooking pots, needed to make corn-based food on it.
(ii) Display area
- The display area is an important part of the pavilion, which is used to display food and related information to customers. On the front of the pavilion, there is a display stand with different kinds of corn food samples. Real corn cobs are neatly arranged next to it. It intuitively shows customers the freshness of the ingredients and the diversity of the products.
(iii) Cashier area
- The cashier area is set on one side of the pavilion, there is a cash register and a certain amount of storage space. Such a location arrangement is convenient for stall owners to settle transactions with customers, and will not affect the normal operation of the operation area and display area.
Material application
The pavilion fully considers the aesthetics, practicality, and theme fit in the selection of materials.
(i) Wood materials
- A large amount of wood materials are used, such as the facade of the corn pavilion decorated with wooden boards, giving people a natural and rustic feeling. Wood materials are relatively light and easy to install and disassemble. It is suitable for places such as stalls that require a flexible layout.
(ii) Woven materials
- Woven material in some areas. For example, the woven decorative panels on the side of the pavilion. The texture and texture of the woven materials adds a unique handicraft atmosphere to the pavilion. It further strengthens the natural and rustic theme style. At the same time, the woven material has good air permeability, which can improve the ventilation inside the pavilion to a certain extent.
(III) Metal and glass
- Metal materials are used in some key parts, such as the sink frame in the operation area and the frame in the display area. It enhances the structural stability and durability of the booth. The display area uses glass to increase the transparency of the space.
(IV) Other materials
- The top of the pavilion uses decorative materials similar to corn leaves to create an atmosphere of being in a cornfield and strengthen the theme characteristics. In addition, some plastic and acrylic signboards and display props are used. These materials are colorful and easy to process, which can effectively attract customers’ attention.
