When the roughness of industrial style meets the softness of light luxury texture, when the cold hardness of rocks is wrapped in the warm light of lights. The design of The Geechee Hookah Bar integrates the four words “urban secret realm” into every inch of the space. Unlike traditional leisure venues that attract attention with noise, it exudes a restrained sense of sophistication, allowing everyone who steps in to relieve their fatigue in a dark atmosphere.
1. Layout
The spatial layout of The Geechee is an art of balanced density and sparseness. The entrance is cushioned by a semi-enclosed sofa area. The light beige curved sofa creates a sense of privacy. The low table is just enough to hold a set of hookah equipment and a few special cocktails. When friends get together, they can get close and chat without being disturbed by the person sitting next to them.
Further in, the high and open areas are naturally divided by rock columns. On one side is the viewing spot by the window. On one side is the open booth in the center. It not only ensures the smoothness of the circulation but also allows each area to have an independent emotional atmosphere.
The most wonderful part is the design of the transition zone. Between the water bar counter and the green plant wall, a simulated olive tree serves as a visual connection. It not only softens the boundaries of the hard space but also slows down the pace from the bustling bar counter to the quiet booths. This layout of changing one’s state of mind every few steps precisely aligns with the core of the water pipe bar, which is to enjoy the slow moments.
2. Decoration
Wall: the decorative logic of The Geechee is to create texture with a sense of conflict. The wall is the most direct form of expression. Large areas of rock texture imitation, with a natural rough texture. However, it was softened by the embedded LED light strips. The warm light spread along the folds of the rock, and the cold and hard material suddenly gained warmth.
Logo: the brand logo area on the background wall is even more ingenious. The metal-textured lion head sculpture and the luminous “Geechee lounge bar” nameplate are framed by transparent acrylic. It is both eye-catching and not jarring.
Wall cabinets: the wine cabinet behind the water bar is equipped with a black metal frame and warm light built-in lamps. Let the luster of the bottle body form a contrast of light and shade with the rock background. Vertical wooden grilles for partitions. It not only ensures the transparency of the space but also adds a touch of ambiguous atmosphere.
3. Furniture
Sofa: The sofa is the star of the space. The light beige fabric has a fine velvety texture. It feels soft to the touch, but the filling of the cushion is firm enough. The curved backrest fits the waist and back perfectly. The single chair is small and compact. It is also a light beige wraparound design. The chair legs are made of slender metal.
Tables and chairs: The low tables in the booth area have chosen dark wooden tops. The soft velvet cushions of the high stools at the bar counter fit the curves of the buttocks. Anti-slip pads have been added to the bottom of the metal tripod. These invisible comforts are the true landing points of a sense of sophistication.
4. Bar counter
The water bar is the soul corner of The Geehee. It is both an operational area and a visual focal point. And the countertop of the bar counter has a rock texture that echoes the walls. The edges have become thicker. It is both durable and in harmony with the overall style. The ceiling above the bar counter adopts a layered wooden structure. Accompanied by hanging metal chain lights. It not only fills the gap in the high ceiling, but also makes the bar the center of light for the entire space.
