Adapt the Decorative Piece to the Installation
Choose the role of the piece before deciding its size: a shop-window focal point, an indoor photo opportunity and a freestanding outdoor feature place different demands on the design. Share the available footprint and height limit, the viewing distance and the surrounding furniture. Keep the shape and colour consistent with the space while leaving a clear route for customers to pass around it.
Confirm the proposed material, surface finish, base construction and installation method in the production brief. For an outdoor location, ask about the finish specification, drainage where relevant and the intended fixing arrangement. For a seat or stool, agree a separate structural and load requirement; the appearance of a decorative animal or character does not establish suitability for sitting, climbing or play.
Before manufacture, review the dimensions, colour sample and any branding or character details. Discuss how the piece will pass through doors and lifts, where lifting or assembly will take place and who will complete installation. Packaging, destination and access constraints should be included in the quotation. This makes the decorative concept easier to evaluate as an actual delivery and installation task.
Prepare a Project-Specific Quotation
Use the reference as a starting point, then provide a measured floor plan or the available installation footprint. Mark entrances, existing fixtures, power points and any fixed obstructions. Include the products or equipment to be accommodated, the number of units required and the preferred colour or finish references. These details help turn a visual idea into a clear scope for drawings and pricing.
Ask the proposal to identify the agreed dimensions, materials, supplied components and installation responsibilities. Confirm packaging, the delivery destination and the required schedule separately.
