Elegant perfume furniture beige fragrance bar counter custom display table & stand design

Perfume store

This perfume store does not use hard walls to divide the space. Instead, it uses semi-transparent vertical grille walls and arched doorways with golden borders as soft partitions, allowing the line of sight to naturally move between different functional areas. The giant layered metal chandelier at the entrance is the visual center of the space. The wavy golden aluminum sheets hang down layer upon layer, resembling both frozen clouds and flowing scents, which echoes the metaphor that “perfume is a flowing building”. The large green plants in the corner infuse the cool-toned materials with a sense of vitality. The unfurling posture of the leaves echoes the lines of the arc-shaped furniture, adding a touch of breathing to the entire space while it is refined.

Layout design

Starting from the perfume table on the central island at the entrance, walk along the long bar-shaped perfume counter to the built-in wall cabinet, then pass through the rest area and transition to the reception desk, and finally return to the entrance through the arch. There is no forced direction of movement. Customers can freely switch between different fragrance display areas just like visiting an art gallery. This “stress-free exploration” design precisely caters to the consumption habit of perfume tasting, which requires repeated experience and slow decision-making.

Perfume long bar counter

  1. The long bar counter along the wall is the core scent tasting area of the store. It is entirely made of off-white terrazzo, and the countertop retains a fine grain texture. When your fingertips glide over it, you can feel the warmth of the natural material. The golden wavy skirting board at the bottom of the counter is the finishing touch, which not only weakens the heaviness of the terrazzo but also forms a top-down response with the metal chandelier on the top.
  2. The countertop is not densely filled with perfume bottles. Instead, it follows the principle of “leaving blank space”, with a set of fragrances displayed every 30 centimeters or so. Each set is accompanied by a scent test card and a simple note description card.
  3. The double-layer wall cabinet at the back seamlessly connects with the counter. The upper layer is an open shelf with embedded light strips, displaying perfume bottles of different capacities. Warm white light refracts through the bottle bodies, creating a transparent luster. The lower layer is a closed storage cabinet, concealing spare inventory and fragrance testing tools, which not only ensures visual tidiness but also takes practicality into account. The side of the counter is printed with the golden “YAVA” brand logo and artistic lines of perfume bottles, subtly yet clearly reinforcing the brand memory.

Island table

The perfume table located in the center of the space is the visual focus, featuring a double-layer design with varying heights: the upper layer has an arc-shaped countertop with rounded edges to avoid sharpness; The lower layer is a thick circular base, supported by golden cylindrical feet. The overall shape resembles a piece of jade that has been gently cut.

Here, limited edition fragrances and gift box sets are mainly displayed. The black matte gift boxes and transparent perfume bottles form a material contrast. The uneven countertop ensures that each product can be clearly seen. The designer deliberately reserved a half-meter-wide blank area on the desktop. Customers can place their personal items here or lay the scent cards they have tried on the tabletop for slow comparison. This “customer-centered” detail design makes the scent tasting no longer a hasty “smell and leave”, but a deep experience that allows them to calm down.

Arc-shaped  fabric sofa

The arc-shaped white fabric sofa occupies the visual center. The surface of the suede material feels soft to the touch. Paired with two light gray throw pillows, it creates a relaxed feeling like a living room at home. The pink single chair beside it breaks the monotony of off-white and gold with its striking color, becoming a vibrant embellishment in the space. The round golden coffee table is small and lightweight. Customers can place coffee cups and aroma cards here. After tasting the scents, they can sit down and slowly savor the layers of different fragrances, allowing the olfactory experience to settle in a comfortable sitting position.

Perfume wall cabinet

On the grille walls and blank walls, the designer has created multiple sets of embedded niches and open wall cabinets, serving as a showcase stage for niche fragrances. The niche adopts an arc-shaped edge design, echoing the soft elements of the overall space. Warm white light strips are embedded inside. When a small perfume bottle is placed in it, the light will create a soft halo on the bottle body, making each fragrance like a miniature work of art.

The wall cabinets adopt a “staggered height” layout. Some niches can only hold a bottle of fragrance, while others can display a group of the same series of products. This “irregular feeling” breaks the rigidity of traditional shelves, allowing customers to constantly discover surprises while exploring. For instance, the three small arched niches on the wall respectively display purple-toned woody scents, red-toned fruity scents and black-toned neutral scents. The colors and the scents form a direct connection, reducing the customer’s choice cost.

Small display stand with light

Beside the grille wall, three sets of column-type display cabinets are particularly eye-catching: they are respectively made of two materials, off-white terrazzo and light off-white traverstone, with golden metal bases at the bottom, and the heights are arranged in a staggered manner. Each column top is embedded with a small light strip, independently showcasing a signature fragrance. This “single-item special writing” approach enables niche fragrances to have their own dedicated display positions, avoiding the embarrassment of being submerged on the shelves.

Reception desk

The reception desk of the perfume store is crafted from light beige travertine. The natural texture gives the countertop a delicate mottled look, and the golden metal trim at the edge is in harmony with the overall style. The reception desk has no exaggerated design. Only the golden brand logo is printed on the background wall. This “downplaying presence” design makes it a natural consultation and checkout area for customers after they get tired of shopping, rather than a deliberate “service desk”.
