Toy retail kiosk is an important bridge connecting products and parent-child emotions. This set of toy cabinets accurately positions the “parent-child joyful shopping experience”. It comprehensively implants the “fun gene” into the space from the perspectives of vision, interaction and safety. Let both adults and children gain happiness here.
Design
In terms of design language, “childlike symbols” are used to build a happy space. We cover the cabinets with big swaths of bright, saturated colors—pink, yellow, blue, green, and more. It is like bringing the bright colors in children’s picture books into reality to attract children’s attention. When it comes to shape, we work in lots of curves and all sorts of unique, irregular designs.The circular island display cabinet is like an enlarged “toy turntable”. The arc-shaped shelves are like an open “embrace”. Some cabinets are also embedded with cartoon elements, making the shelves themselves “giant toy components”. The design is very clever.
Layout
The layout logic follows the “interaction + guidance” dual-track drive experience. The fully open multi-layer shelf design builds a parent-child “co-exploration space”. They let the toys be completely “exposed” to show, satisfying the children’s nature of “touch and explore”. The design of the floor height is also in line with the height of children. And we split things into special little zones, right along the lines of toy types and themes—nice and natural, no forced feel to it. The building block area is matched with the top mini buildings and car ornaments to build a “creative workshop” scene. The trendy toy/doll area uses wall decoration to create a “fairy tale corner”. Use scene creation to immerse customers in the “toy world”. Improve the fun of shopping and clearly guide the shopping route.
Material
We use MDF for the material—it’s sturdy and durable, and we can bend it into all sorts of shapes, just like you imagine. We treat the surface with baking paint, giving it that sleek, piano-like finish. Then we tuck flexible light strips inside the shelf edges and on top of the cabinets to wrap the space in warmth. And we round off all the cabinet edges and shelf corners, making sure there are no sharp bits at all.Prevent children from bumping into them when choosing toys.
Details
In the details, the toy cabinet also hides a lot of clever ideas. The “open gaps” retained between some shelves. It is convenient for small hands to take and put toys, and it also forms a visual rhythm similar to the “toy display rack”. We don’t just stick cartoon elements on—we mold them right into the cabinet itself, making them one with the structure. That way, the childish charm works its way into the build, not just sits on top looking like an afterthought.The edge of the table in the trial area is anti-slip, and the safety and convenience of children’s use are taken into consideration in detail. Let “fun” extend from macro design to the experience of fingertips.
Summary
This set of toy kiosk is considered from the perspectives of color to activate emotions, layout to guide exploration, and materials to take into account practicality and safety.
