The façade of “The Kebab Shop” is really eye-catching, with clean lines and bright colors that attract people from a distance. The entire facade is a clean white background, which makes the store logo stand out – it is an orange round logo with a kebab skewer painted on it. The store name is bilingual (English and Arabic “محل الكباب”), which makes people feel inclusive and welcome.
Facade: An eye-catching first impression
Directly above the counter, three electronic menu boards loop tempting pictures of grilled meat, side dishes and drinks, all in warm colors (orange and brown), which reminds people of the rich aroma of grilled meat. The service counter is bright white with orange embellishments, which is exactly the same as the main color of the store. There are also freshly baked bread and pastries on the side, so people can not only read the menu, but also smell the fragrance, which makes ordering more interesting.
Interior: A symphony of vision and space
Dining area
Seating: This dining area is comfortable and stylish. Along the wall are orange cushioned benches, matched with light wood tables and chairs. A single red chair is particularly eye-catching, adding a bit of fun to the space. The bench design is convenient for friends to dine together, and the atmosphere is quite lively. The large graffiti-style mural on the opposite wall is bold in color (blue, green, and red), exuding street vitality, forming an interesting contrast with the wooden strips on the ceiling and the warm wood color of the furniture.
Lighting: The hanging chandeliers cast soft light, and the downlights ensure sufficient light. The wooden strips on the ceiling can also make the light softer and more even. The whole space is modern and warm, and it is quite comfortable to stay in.
Open kitchen
Transparent operation: A large glass separates the kitchen, and the stainless steel ovens and equipment inside are clearly visible, and the barbecue process can be seen clearly. This open design makes people feel at ease, and whether the ingredients are fresh or not, dry or not, are all in front of them. The small black sign hanging above the kitchen (reading “donner”, “grills”, “shakes”) simply and clearly categorizes the menu, which looks very simple and comfortable.
Functional design: efficient and comfortable
Layout: The whole movement line is very smooth: order at the front desk → see the kitchen production → eat in the back area. Customers move naturally. The open shelves under the counter and in the kitchen are convenient for storage and efficient. The seating arrangement also makes full use of the space, and it does not feel crowded when there are many people.
Bilingual identity: The use of both English and Arabic reflects respect and tolerance for different cultures. The logo of the barbecue skewers is understandable to everyone and represents traditional craftsmanship. Although the murals are very modern, they also hide some cultural elements when you look closely, cleverly connecting traditional and modern designs together.
Customer experience: The open kitchen makes people feel at ease when eating; the comfortable seats and vibrant decoration make people willing to sit for a while. From the signboard to the seat, every little place exudes a feeling of “welcome, feel at home”, which is particularly inclusive.
Harmonious combination of materials and colors
Material: Wood (ceiling, furniture) brings warmth, the floor is durable, and stainless steel (kitchen) ensures easy maintenance. The glass partition makes the space transparent, and the graffiti mural adds a dynamic texture.
Color: The main colors – white, orange, and wood – combine to make the space bright and friendly. The bright colors of the mural (blue and green) add visual stimulation and vitality. The orange embellishment (bench, logo) is closely related to the barbecue theme, which reminds people of the tempting meat aroma and heat on the grill.
