An Irregular Grain-Look Panel Meets a Curved Pale End

This reception desk reference joins a broad grain-look front section to a pale veined-looking curved end. The meeting edge is irregular rather than a straight vertical division, while a dark grain-look top spans the working area. The boutique scene and computer illustrate context only. The image does not prove terrazzo, natural stone, solid timber or an installed Benson fashion store.

Review the Material Transition as a Design Detail

The irregular join is a prominent part of the appearance. Ask for a drawing and finish sample showing how the two surfaces meet, including edge treatment and any seams. A photograph-like concept cannot establish whether the grain face is a solid slab, veneer or another construction. Confirm the pale section independently rather than using the original material names as an order specification.

Choose the Greeting Position Along the Front

Mark where visitors approach and where staff handle payment, documents or collection. The curved end may offer a different viewing angle, but the full staff-side layout is not shown. Provide the actual equipment sizes and request worktop depth, cable access and internal storage if required. No drawers, cupboards or seating clearances should be inferred from the decorative front.

Check the Site and Assembly Requirements

The large front panel and curved end need delivery and assembly review for the real entrance route. Confirm the complete footprint and any fixing or floor protection. Consider how bags, cleaning equipment or visitor traffic may contact the projecting curve. Agree the surface finish and cleaning guidance with the intended store use. Clothing rails, wall niches and room lighting remain reference context rather than a confirmed supplied interior package.

Mixed-Front Desk Questions

Is the pale section real stone? Request the proposed material schedule. Can the irregular edge change? Confirm a revised detail. What should I provide? Send the reception tasks, equipment footprints, finish direction and available shop position.

Discuss the counter layout and required fixture specification.
