Front Panel
The front panel is a single sheet of 8mm tempered glass bent under heat into a convex curve. A single bent sheet is used instead of flat panels joined at angles, so the front surface has no vertical joint or connecting frame. The bow moves the center of the display surface forward by a set distance, which increases the angle from which items on the deck can be seen. The bend radius and bow depth are fixed during production and can be specified to match existing counters. The glass meets tempered-safety requirements and breaks into small blunt pieces if fractured. Other metal and glass systems are described in our aluminium display cases and stainless steel vitrines.
Use Positions
The unit is free-standing and can be placed in the following positions:
- Entrance or window area as a single feature unit
- Between wall cases along a straight fixture run
- Next to counters that use the same dark metal finish
- In pairs, one on each side of a central island
Other counter-height units are listed under retail display counters.
Build And Use
The frame, glass rails and four tapered legs are made of 304 stainless steel and finished with a gunmetal PVD coating. PVD coating bonds the color to the metal surface, so it does not peel as paint does and resists fingerprints and surface oxidation. A steel stretcher below the deck connects the legs and keeps the frame rigid. Each leg ends in an adjustable glide used to level the table on uneven floors. The top glass opens on rear hinges with a gas stay that holds it in the raised position during restocking; an optional key lock can be fitted. The white deck lifts out for cleaning or re-covering. LED strips are wired inside the legs, with the driver and power connection mounted under the tabletop; no wiring is exposed on the customer side. Clean glass with a standard glass cleaner and wipe metal surfaces with a dry microfiber cloth.
Benson Display manufactures custom jewelry display tables, glass jewelry counters, metal jewelry counter showcases and store display systems. Bow-front tables, straight counters, console tables and glass vitrines are produced in the same factory to keep metal finish, glass type and LED color consistent. Send floor dimensions and the required bow radius to receive a custom specification and quotation.
