This double-deck shipping container restaurant uses a 20ft container as the base frame. The ground floor functions as the main kitchen and customer serving area. A second floor rooftop terrace provides open-air seating for multiple guests. A metal staircase on the side connects the two levels safely. Metal railings surround the rooftop terrace to protect customers. Extended wooden decks expand the ground floor serving and waiting space.
Renovation Craft
The container goes through full structural modification before interior work begins. Steel support beams are welded in to carry the second floor rooftop deck. Large openings are precision-cut for the hydraulic lifting window and service door. All cut steel edges receive anti-rust primer and weatherproof sealing treatment. Electrical conduit, water supply, and drainage pipes run inside insulated wall cavities. Interior wall panels and equipment mount only after structural inspection passes.
Hydraulic Features
The main serving window uses a hydraulic lifting mechanism for smooth one-hand operation. The window panel lifts upward to form a large open service counter opening. Heavy-duty gas struts hold the window firmly in any open position. A side service door also uses hydraulic hinges for soft closing and easy access. All hydraulic parts are stainless steel rated for outdoor weather and corrosion. The open lifting window acts as a rain canopy over the serving counter area.
