Overall designs
Many aspects of interior design can create a warm and professional environment in a law firm’s office. At Benson Display, we design workspaces to create that effect. We select a neutral colour palette to create a base, including taupe, charcoal, and warm wood. Also, we create depth using multiple textures in the materials we select, including leather, brushed metal, and soft textiles. We use task lamps for reading/working with files, and overhead lighting that measures dim for meeting clients. In addition, we enhance the privacy of partner offices by utilizing sound-dampening wall panels and the ability for the walls to create privacy for client conversations.
Custom furniture
Legal work requires furniture to have certain specifications. Our executive desks come equipped with large, scratch-resistant surfaces and built-in cable management. We include side cabinets that can be secured to store documents, and we pair them with high-back leather chairs. For associates and administrative assistants, we create modular L-shaped desks with file drawers and privacy panels. We also provide breathable mesh chairs to help keep the user in a good posture. Also, we include power ports for laptops and legal tablets, and provide padded upholstered chairs for our tables to keep clients comfortable during long depositions.
Fixtures & decoration
Your space will be made cohesive through the use of fixtures. Custom and floor-to-ceiling bookcases allow for the display of research materials as well as the inclusion of locked compartments for the security of private documents. In addition, we will create an environment in which your clients feel comfortable and confident through several means, including utilizing antique-style sofas constructed from leather, constructing rustic-style coffee tables made from reclaimed wood. Lastly, we will provide a small coffee area for our clients’ convenience and finish out the space with decorative trim to provide additional visual interest and structure.
